The minui HandySitt is a Danish-designed, European-made modern seating system for kids 6 months and up. Handcrafted out of FSC-certified solid Birch and steel. Created to grow with your child and be useful around the home longer than just the toddler years.

It comes in 3 styles: Antique (shown) all black, and natural birch.

Why we call it a modern high chair

Because it looks good, and normal; not like a space ship as some so-called modern high chairs fall prey to. In an understated kind of way, it's simple, it's smart, and it's not over-designed. There are no baby rattles, superfluous fabric patterns and padding. There is no additional bulk to offend your aesthetic senses and steal precious usable space from your home.

Instead, it has simple lines, a smart compact form, and is made from natural materials. It does a lot of things: it's a high chair for kids 6 months to about 3 years old, a booster set for 3 - 5 year olds, a chair for older kids and a step stool for any family member needing to reach an upper cabinet.

Plastic sucks

I don't really mean that. Plastic is a brilliant material that we've all benefited from. But it sure makes for ugly, oversized high chairs. Plastic high chairs are awkwardly large, and take up way more real estate at the table than any child needs.
