A North American distribution company started by two young dads, Keiki distributes and builds brands for children's products that are great looking, practical and built to last.
JM is an American born in Germany, raised in Hawaii and presently living in Canada. He is married to a lovely Canadian woman and has two fantastic little daughters. Being a father has transformed his life and inspired him to create Keiki Enterprises Inc. His history in the service industry, training as a photographer and passion for all things tech have instilled in him a devotion to uncompromising customer service, practical design and a mandate to always find the most efficient route possible.
A few years ago JM and his wife left the city for a small coastal community, a few chickens and an organic garden. To prevent turning full hippy, he listens to tech podcasts while baking bread and (much to his wife’s chagrin) he can be found twittering at the dining room table.
About working from home, JM says the perks of having his toddler deliver mochi at snack time and the magic of looking up to find little faces smooshed against his office window are priceless.
JM is short for Jon-Marc.
In his early years, Adam was interested in golf course architecture and pursued it via an education in Landscape Architecture. Lacking enthusiasm short into that professional venture, he shifted to graphic design and digital communications where he cut his entrepreneurial teeth. In 2001, he co-founded a design studio and helped build it into a 15-person, 1.5M/yr digital communications agency with clients including Sony PlayStation, Future Shop and Kodak.
Adam's left and right brains are rather well balanced which makes him as comfortable working alongside creatives as web developers. He's grateful for detail, impatient with indirect and inefficient communication, and delighted with beauty.
He and his wife Sarah have four kids under the age of seven and hope to have more. They're particular consumers and have selectively acquired smart, well built, handsome products for their children and home. That's why they like the HandySitt so much.
Things he's particularly fond of: truth, space and how we use it, plants, soil, alone time, silence, his wife, beer and hockey.
